We received this email from a woman who was planning a hospital birth but was really very anti-medical. She used The Pink Kit Package to prepare her pregnant body and learned the skills but she desperately wanted a home birth.
Her friend had had a previous Caesarean but in her last pregnancy had gotten hold of a Pink Kit Package and had prepared even though she knew she would have another Caesarean.
'My friend had a previous c-section and knew she would probably have one again, but she had such a positive attitude to it. She wanted to be in labour as long as she could, to give herself and the baby that experience, using the PK skills.
She stayed at home as long as she could, then had the c-section at ____ Hospital. She had a really great experience and was the one who instilled in me a positive feeling towards hospital birth. That really helped me, as so many stories are of disempowered experiences'.
